Quins

Tiverton Quins compete in Division 1 of the Devon 2nd XV Merit Table and for the second year running are captained by James Andrew Morrison BA MA Esq, ably backed up by  vice-captain Steve ‘Chalky’ White.  The hard–working Quins backroom staff are coach Charlie Burt and manager Steve White (no relation to Chalky). 

The 2006-07 season proved to be a transitional period for the Quins, thanks to the retirement of several senior players, as well as long term injuries.  It took a while for a young team to find any consistency, but some encouraging performances were put together, particularly the victories away at Kingsbridge and Minehead, and home and away against local rivals Crediton.  With the return of influential players and an encouraging mix of youth and experience, the 2007-08 season promises to see the Quins improve on their Merit Table position, and consolidate their status as a tough 2nd team for any club to face.
